Child Safety Standards

The Maharashtra Naka Kamgar app ("the App") is a government labour marketplace operated by the Maharashtra Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB), Government of Maharashtra. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment and have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form.

1. App Purpose and Audience

This App is a professional labour marketplace designed exclusively for adults (18 years and above). It connects informal construction-sector workers with registered employers for legitimate employment purposes. The App is not a social network, dating platform, or community forum.

2. Zero-Tolerance Policy Against CSAE

We strictly prohibit the following on our platform:

• Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors
• Grooming, solicitation, or communication intended to harm children
• Sharing, uploading, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
• Any use of the platform to facilitate harm against children

Any account found engaging in such activity will be immediately suspended and the incident will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities under applicable Indian law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.

3. Access Controls

• Registration requires a valid mobile number and OTP verification
• Users must declare they are 18 years of age or older during registration
• Profile information is moderated for compliance with platform policies
• Document uploads (Aadhaar, PAN) are used solely for identity verification and are accessible only to the account holder and authorized administrators

4. Reporting Harmful Content

If you encounter any content or behaviour on this platform that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately:

Reports will be reviewed promptly and forwarded to law enforcement where appropriate. You may also report CSAM directly to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal: cybercrime.gov.in

5. Legal Compliance

This App and its operators comply with all applicable laws of India regarding child protection, including:

• The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012
• The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
• The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
